Recieved my y carriage upgrade and placed it in a few minutes
Fitted to perfection used 10 mm socket srews
The z end stop 1 position up and the adjusment went as smooth as i never saw !!
The first print with brim instead with a raft what was used was fawless

Upgraded the bed carriage as the stock one eventually warped on 2 corners. After bending the stock bed carriage back up to correct the slop/warp it eventually gave in and I was unable to bend the corners back up so I decided to upgrade to this and it's been perfect since.
As it's 6mm thick combined with 3d printed spring cups it allows the springs to be compressed which means I very rarely ever have to re-level the bed.
If you're having bed levelling issues buy this. It's perfect.

I didn't realize how bent and bowed my stock plate was until I removed it and placed it on a flat surface. This plate is lighter, flatter and more rigid making it a great upgrade. One thing to note is that I found that the stock screws only just fit the bearing housings, however the screws that attach to the Y belt bracket were not long enough and needed to be replaced with longer screws (luckily I had some spare screws that worked). In future it would be great if you could include a set of appropriate length screws in this package.

The original y carriage plate that comes with the Wanhao i3 is flimsy and, at least for me, was bent from factory. On my original plate, leveling the bed left me with a very loose screw on the back left. With this plate, all of these problems are gone and it's much easier to level the bed. It's also a lot stiffer and lighter than the original. So all in all, a huge and very affordable upgrade that I definitely recommend everyone to do on their machine.

I just upgraded my Wanhao i3 plus with this support.
While I was on it I also changed from the standard bearings to IGUS bearings.
First of all the support itself is 96 grams lighter than the original while being much stiffer. Together with the IGUS bearings and 3 instead of 4 bearings attached, it reduces the total weight by 133 grams.
The assembly I fairly easy and done in about an hour. Holes are where they have to be and everything fits really well!
Needless to say: The benchy I printed right after the upgrade was the nicest one I managed to print so far!
No vibrations... Easier bed leveling... Stiff... and light!

Surprisingly stiff. The sandwich (Al-Plastic foam-Al-Plastic foam-Al) technology makes new bed really resistant to vibrations. I reduced all sorts of resonances and my printer is now significantly quieter. Also made bed height adjustments much smoother. I'm nor sure why, though. As new bed has higher heights the springs operate at higher tension making a whole bed overall stiffer. I didn't have to drill or modify anything - it was a drop-in replacement. Also, a bag of new longer bolts was a nice (and useful) touch. Recommended product!

I got this to replace the thin, flimsy stock plate on my wanhao i3.
Its very rigid and has improved surface quality of my prints. It should also work for Monoprice Maker select, which is a rebranded Wanhao. I drilled out the corner holes with a 3.8mm drill bit and inserted some brass eyelets, which made the height-adjustment smoother. I also drilled holes for the stock belt-bracket. I used aluminum bearing-blocks, and needed to open up the holes for them. Easily done. All dimensions for holes etc are very accurate. Recommended!
